The Olsens

As a young teenager, I liked to save pictures of my favorite celebrities. However now, I'm already in my late teen years, and I thought I need to get rids of those pictures on my laptop and make some space for other pictures a.k.a. my own pictures.

So before I delete those photos of celebrities which I usually googled which usually linked to other links which I saved, I would like to post my favorites first. Here is a few of my collection of The Olsen Twins (oh yeah, I loved them so much I bought all their VCDs, and I'm so sad right now they don't act again).

So Little Time moment

I'd want a photo shoot like this! So fun!

Photos from random sources

Hope this can be one of your inspirations because look at them! They really are trend setters. They were THAT fashionable years ago!

Ciao.

P.S. My favorite Olsen is Ashley.

Black, White, and... Pink?

Hello dearies, how have your week been going? It's almost weekend so don't stress out (I'm telling this to myself right now. Oh, but no, even though it's weekend, submission is a week away so I should still work). I'll enjoy my holiday after 11th of June. Even if I still have a presentation after.
This outfit post is not much. Just one of the series that I took with the previous post.

Shirt - H&M
Skirt - Barkins, I got it in Melbourne
Jacket - Zara
Wedges - Primark

Like I've said before, I'm not keen with the combination of black, white, and other colour, especially this shocking pink. I didn't wear this outfit out, actually, hahaha, just tried some stuff out. If I'd wear this outfit out (it's not like I won't, because I'm also okay with this outfit or else why would I be taking pictures in it) I'd tone the contrast down by changing the jacket to a grey cardigan. But I'd still wear this, next time lol.

Ciao.

Sleepy Eyes and Energized Mind

Oh hello there. I'm typing in the middle of the night right now in the midst of sketch-booking if that's even a verb but I just have the mood to talk and blab and chat and I got no one to talk to (trust me it's not as pathetic as it sounds it's just that my eyes are sleepy now but my heart is so hyper don't know why), so I guess I'd just type. I just drank my cappuccino and I just tweeted basically about me wanting to go home.

I'm probably not homesick, but seeing my three friends are already in Indonesia and having fun, and me still doing this sketchbook makes me realize that life is unfair (of course it is)! Hahaha. No. I mean, I want a holiday too! But I'm quite excited to finish this sketchbook and portfolio. Okay, so what am I talking about now? Okay. I meaaaannn, can I be in Indonesia and London at the same time? I really wish teleportation super power does exist. In me.

Dress and wedges - Primark
Sleeveless shirt worn underneath - H&M
Blazer - Zara

Again, this is not my dress (hahaha you all probably will go, "go buy your own dress" or something). Anyway, doesn't it remind you of Mary Katrantzou's dresses? Well, printed dresses are so in right now, especially with big floral patterns, thanks to her and her recent success. Every time I see this kind of symmetrical prints or any printed patterns whether it's flower or fish or elephant or desert (okay maybe not elephant) my mind just went to Mary Katrantzou. Oh, the power of a design. It conquers the world, seriously.

Bahahahahaha. Before I get even crazier and talking non stop about stuff you guys probably won't even care about, I'll just shut up and finish this post.

Ciao.

P.S. But I still have energy to talk :( or type.

Never Grow Up

When I listened to the lyrics of Taylor Swift's songs, I thought they were so true. Like, really, really true. For example; Sparks Fly, Mean, The Story Of Us, and like my post title this time; Never Grow Up. Just read, and agree.

Your little hand's wrapped around my finger
And it's so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eyelids flutter cause you're dreaming
So I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light
To you everything's funny, you got nothing to regret
I'd give all I have, honey
If you could stay like that

Oh darling, don't you ever grow up

Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little
Oh darling, don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple
I won't let nobody hurt you, won't let no one break your heart
And no one will desert you
Just try to never grow up, never grow up

You're in the car on the way to the movies

And you're mortified your mom's dropping you off
At 14 there's just so much you can't do
And you can't wait to move out someday and call your own shots
But don't make her drop you off around the block
Remember that she's getting older too
And don't lose the way that you dance around in your pj's getting ready for school

Oh darling, don't you ever grow up

Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little
Oh darling, don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple
No one's ever burned you, nothing's ever left you scarred
And even though you want to, just try to never grow up

Take pictures in your mind of your childhood room

Memorize what it sounded like when your dad gets home
Remember the footsteps, remember the words said
And all your little brother's favorite songs
I just realized everything I have is someday gonna be gone

So here I am in my new apartment

In a big city, they just dropped me off
It's so much colder that I thought it would be
So I tuck myself in and turn my night light on

Wish I'd never grown up

I wish I'd never grown up

Oh I don't wanna grow up, wish I'd never grown up

I could still be little
Oh I don't wanna grow up, wish I'd never grown up
It could still be simple
Oh darling, don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little
Oh darling, don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple
Won't let nobody hurt you
Won't let no one break your heart
And even though you want to, please try to never grow up
Oh, don't you ever grow up
Oh, never grow up, just never grow up

This song was written from both sides' point of views; the parent and you. As a teenager there must be a time when you want to do everything your own without your parents interfering and can't wait to experience to live alone so no one will tell you when to sleep or eat or bath. You can do whatever you want. But once you got to that stage, everything was just so hard. And then you wish there's someone to tell you what to do, make your decision, and you wish to just turn back the time to when everything was so easy and taken care of.

My mom once (okay maybe quite a lot of times) said that she wished her children were all still little because she loved it that way. And I understand because I know the hardest thing parents could ever faced in life is to let go of their children. So, whatever you're doing and wherever you are, just keep in touch and show your parents you're still their little girl (or boy). Make them happy. Time flies. Cherish every moment with them. Take pictures. Have fun.

The green highlight was just very true in my case. Hahaha... Also when I hear the verse before, I was imagining my room, my dad's footsteps when he went upstairs and checking up on me and what did I do and asked have I cleaned myself from school and do my homework, or later on at 7pm they called me to have dinner (which I often answered I've had my dinner after school already), oh and my brother's favorite songs (in this case it was all SNSD's songs... but now I think he has changed his mind).

Oh, good ol' days.

So, just to memorize what it was like when I was little, I present this outfit post, with me wearing something childish like.
